Through the selection of unique and vibrant dramas and documentaries, we aim to shed light on the extraordinary courage and resilience of those who were forced to flee.

The opening film for this year will be “The Good Lie”

Sudanese actor, model and refugee, Ger Duany, recently appointed a Regional Goodwill Ambassador will be joining the event.
Ger Duany actor born in southern Sudan (southern Sudan’s current), amid the civil war family apart, and has been forcibly recruited as child soldiers. Then fled to a refugee camp in Ethiopia and at the age of 14 and later resettled in the United States.
