Photographs taken by soldiers in Abu Ghraib prison changed the war in Iraq and changed America’s image of itself. Using the notorious photographs of prisoner abuse and interviews with the soldiers who were directly implicated in the scandal, S.O.P. takes the viewer to an uneasy place, where the distinction between “Standard Operating Procedures” and “Criminal Acts” become shrouded by ambiguity. Winner of the 2008 Berlin International Film Festival Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize. Directed by Errol Morris, Oscar-nominated documentary director of "Fog of War".
Warning: This film contains scenes of male nudity, simulated sexual activity, corpses, coarse language and views which some viewers may find disturbing and/or offensive, and is not recommended for minors.- - Venue -
