11th UNHCR Refugee Film Festival Internship Programme
UNHCR Representation in Japan is seeking interns who will assist the work of the 11th UNHCR Refugee Film Festival (September to October 2016).
【Duration】 In principle, 4 months or longer/minimum 3 working days per week, from July to November 2016, totaling 80 working days or more, but negotiable. The attendance before, during and after the actual Refugee Film Festival in October (including Saturdays, Sundays and other holidays) is compulsory.

【Qualifications & Criteria】
-In principle, preference will be given to applicants who have completed undergraduate/graduate studies or are enrolled in graduate or higher degree programmes in one of the following areas: social science, humanities, international relations, international law, journalism etc with demonstrated interest in the field of human rights or refugee issues.
-Applicants will be fluent in English and Japanese, both written and spoken.
-Strong applicants will have a good knowledge of MS Office programmes and Internet applications, with excellent research skills using the Internet and statistical data.
-Applicants will have the ability to adapt and work as part of a team in a multicultural environment with a strong sense of responsibility and minimal supervision.
-Additional consideration will be given for past work experiences including translation, volunteering and professional office work.
-Intern/working experience in visual, film industry is a plus.
