To escape the daily suffering and violence of the slums of Guatemala, three teenagers flee to the US in search of safety. On their journey through Mexico they meet an indigenous boy from Chiapas. Travelling together in cargo trains and walking long distances by railroad tracks, they soon have to face many harsh realities. A dramatic odyssey, this film is inspired by the testimony of hundreds of people risking their lives by crossing borders.
