Deputy Secretary General for Japan Association for Refugees, part-time lecturer at Hitotsubatsu University (NGO/NPO theories)
Born in 1960 in Aichi Prefecture, graduated from Keio University. Worked for Peace Winds Japan since 1997, and went to conflict areas in Iraq, Kosovo and Sierra Leone to work in the field offices. In 1999, Mr. Ishii established the Japan Association for Refugees, and in 2006 began to work as a staff member and joined the secretariat.

Began working for JEN in 2007. Worked in Islamabad, Pakistan from September 2007 to October 2009. Mr. Narita was in charge of providing assistance following the earthquakes in Kashmir and Southwest Baluchistan, and also to refugees from the conflict in North-West Pakistan. From November 2009 to December 2009, Mr. Narita went to Indonesia for emergency relief work for the Padang Earthquake. He mainly worked in administration and accounting while working in the field offices. Since January 2010, Mr. Narita has been working for the foreign operation division in JEN's Tokyo headquarters, and for the Emergency Relief Work for the flood in Pakistan.

From 2000 worked for an NGO and was in charge of Afghan refugee assistance operations and also providing assistance to Afghanistan reconstruction operations and Darfur medical reconstruction operations. Program Officer of the Foreign Operation division at JEN's Tokyo Headquarters. Born in Osaka. Studied in the U.S. for a year during college. Ms. Wakano was an intern for the Public Information division for JEN from April 2004. From April 2005, has been working as a staff member for the Foreign Operation division, and was in charge of Sri Lankan affairs, and the emergency response for the Nigata Chuetsu Earthquake in Japan. From July 2005, Ms. Wakano worked in administration in the Kabul Office in Afghanistan. From September 2007, Ms. Wakano worked in administration in Juba, Sudan, and from January 2008, began working as the Program Officer. She has been working for the Tokyo Headquarter Secretariat since November 2009.

Working for the Japan Association for Refugees. Studied at Oxford University's refugee research institute (mastering in forced settlement). Worked as an intern at UNHCR and once the Japan Association for Refugees opened, began working there managing legal affairs. Mr. Koike consults refugees, people seeking asylum and people in the process of seeking asylum on immigration procedures.
