Cambodia, August 1992. Savannah, 28 years old, like all people of his generation, has only known refugee camp, famine and massacres from birth. His whole family but his uncle has been slaughtered under the Pol Pot regime. One night, in a dance club, he falls in love with Srey Poev, a young prostitute.
