Four Africans--a political refugee from Togo and three Ghanaians--travel to Europe in hopes to earn money for a better life. Director Fritz Baumann paints a sombre picture of the sordid realities faced by Africans who, in the tens of thousands, attempt to flee to Europe each year to escape poverty and persecution.
