The rapid enlargement of the European Union has created new barriers for asylum seekers, pushing Eastern European countries such as Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine to accept refugees. Six refugee women from various countries arrive in Eastern Europe seeking protection.
Director Paula Palacios spent a long time developing a connection with these women,and portrays their struggles in trying to rebuild their lives, having being deprived of home, family and identity.
