【Film Info】"Run for Life"

It begins with the arrival of three Ethiopian long-distance runners in Serbia. Even if they race well enough, will their dream of obtaining Serbian passports and building careers in Europe come true?
The recently concluded London Summer Olympics gave viewers the opportunity to watch a similar story unfold. Buta, an Ethiopian refugee in Norway, raced in the Men's Marathon. Perhaps some elements of his story reflect the experiences of the 3 runners in the film?
"Run for Life" follows runners Gebre, Tamirat and Estifanos, as they both apply for Serbian citizenship and quite literally, run for their lives. This film will be screened at the 7th UNHCR Refugee Film Festival.
